CBCT, (Cone Beam Computed Tomography)
Dr. Mancuso introduced the Kodak® 9000C 3D imaging system to her practice dental practice back in 2009. There are only a handful of General Dentists that own such state of the art equipment. Digital Imaging
Several years prior to the Cone Beam, Dr. Mancuso introduced digital x-rays to her practice – again turning to Kodak® due to their superior image quality and for safety purposes as well, as digital imaging requires 1/6th less radiation, and doesn’t require the use or storage of the harsh chemicals that are required with conventional film x-rays. Today, Dr. Mancuso and her team offer a full range of digital imaging services including, Panoramic and Cehpalometric imaging. Intraoral Cameras
Dr. Mancuso utilizes Kodak® Intraoral Camera technology once again! This very small camera allows us to view clear and precise images of your mouth, teeth, and gums, which not only enhances your own understanding of your dental needs, but it assists us in making an accurate diagnosis. With clear, defined, and enlarged images, we can see details that may be missed with standard mirror exams. These images are saved into your digital “chart”, which can be used for comparative purposes at a later time, or can be printed for you, for other specialists, for labs, or even insurance purposes. Laser Dentistry
Dr. Mancuso introduced Laser Technology to her patients back in 2009. Today she uses about a half dozen different types of lasers in her dental practice. Laser dentistry can be used for both tooth and soft tissue related procedures. Often times no local anesthesia is required.
Lasers dentistry is used to help diagnose cavities, and to detect a wide variety of oral diseases which may include pre-cancer or cancer. Early detection is so important when it comes to cancer, which is why several years ago, Dr. Mancuso and her team made screening a part of her patients annual routine. In addition, Dr. Mancuso uses lasers soft-tissue treatments and periodontal therapy. Dental lasers have been shown to be safe and effective for treating both children and adults. Learn more.
Single-Visit Porcelain Crowns, Veneers, Inlays and Onlays
Patients have enjoyed the unique ability to watch their owns crown created at Dr. Mancuso’s Fair Lawn office for over 10 years now. In 2005 Dr. Mancuso introduced CEREC, CAD/CAM 3D technology to her patients. Dr. Mancuso uses a camera to take a digital image of the area in need of treatment. From there, she designs your crown on screen, and then sends it for fabrication to her in-office milling station. Learn more.
